**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator with over 3 years of commercial construction experience to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will work with an excavating, grading, and utility contractor servicing Blount County and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for safely and effectively operating various types and sizes of heavy civil construction equipment, including dozers, tractors, scrapers, loaders, and excavators. You must be willing to assist with any labor tasks efficiently and follow the instructions of on-site management while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. **Responsibilities** + Operate various types and sizes of heavy civil construction equipment, including dozers, tractors, scrapers, loaders, and excavators. + Assist with labor tasks as needed and follow instructions from on-site management. + Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of commercial construction experience. + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, skid loaders, and front-end loaders. + Experience with equipment operation, trenching, fine grading, and civil construction. + Knowledge of GPS equipment and operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + GPS experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned business that treats every employee with kindness and respect.
