They are seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman to lead and manage crews for residential and commercial projects. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience with heavy equipment and earthwork, and the ability to maintain schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations on-site. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy equipment experience in a supervisory role and a proven track record of managing site crews effectively.

Essential Functions and Duties: Supervise and lead on-site crews to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency Coordinate daily work schedules and assign tasks per project plans Operate heavy equipment and assist with site layout using blueprints and specs Manage site logistics, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and other stakeholders Conduct site inspections, enforce safety regulations, and mentor crew members
Qualifications: 5+ years of heavy equipment operation and 2+ years in a supervisory role Skilled in reading construction documents, site plans, and using GPS layout systems Strong understanding of excavation safety practices and OSHA regulations Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage crews effectively Valid driver’s license required; CDL and OSHA certification preferred Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various outdoor conditions
