Primary Responsibilities Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred) Field Mechanic: When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner Year-round company provided OEM training Work for three years post school program Complete DOL OJT and RTI Other duties, assigned as needed Skills & Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Tools applicable to position are a perk Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools Knowledge of construction equipment Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Physical Requirements: Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
EquipmentShare is searching for an Heavy Equipment Shop Technician Apprentice for our rental facility in Wenatchee, WA. This apprenticeship will cover all aspects of a rental yard. There will be a rotation to familiarize and give you appreciation for each role and task.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Enrolled in a post secondary school to get certification in Diesel mechanics or other heavy equipment machinery maintaining a GPA of 2.5Physical Requirements: Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
