How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Job Description Summary:  The primary function of the Helium Product Line Manager is to support the Airgas product line strategy execution (addressing growth, profitability, product sourcing, and supply chain management).  This is a highly collaborative and influential role relying on others to execute with appropriate support and guidance. Success will require knowledge and understanding of the customer markets and supply chain processes and a high degree of collaboration with the Airgas Regions and Market Sectors and Air Liquide Group entities (ALHAI, ALEUS, etc.)  

Track and evaluate the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for the Helium Product Line, focusing on sales performance by region and mode of supply.

Provide insights on customer portfolio management and recommend pricing and margin movement options to regional management.

Conduct analysis to ensure cost recovery and track efficiency metrics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess supply chain effectiveness and identify continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist the national helium logistics group in managing take-or-pay requirements and aligning regions to allocation levels as necessary.

Regularly review the Airgas LHE transfill network to propose optimal setups for supply reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of market drivers and conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Engage in forecasting activities to predict supply and demand trends for Helium.

Aid regional companies in customer sales meetings, site visits, and other engagement activities to enhance customer relationships.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Helium, assisting with IT/IS project implementations, data clean-up, and file set maintenance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

At least five years of industrial gas experience

SAP and PowerBi experience required

Proficient in Excel/Sheets


Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred

Previous experience in sales, product management and/or business development
