Description Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join an organization in Grand Junction, Colorado. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the seamless operation of IT systems for our end-users. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities + Respond to and resolve help desk inquiries via phone, email, or in-person within established SLAs. + Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users. + Document and track support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring proper resolution and follow-up. + Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and mobile devices. + Provide support for commonly used applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, and other enterprise software. + Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or vendors as necessary. + Educate users on best practices, IT policies, and troubleshooting techniques. + Maintain an inventory of IT assets and assist with hardware procurement and disposal processes. + Contribute to the creation and updating of user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. + Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required. Requirements Qualifications + 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role. + Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems. + Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
