Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst to join our dynamic team in Iowa City, Iowa. In this role, you will be tasked with providing IT support and resolving technical issues for both local and remote users. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the technology industry. Responsibilities: • Offer IT support for various internal applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office • Manage and resolve technical help tickets submitted through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and in-person walk-ins • Undertake installation and configuration tasks related to Windows OS, networked and local printers, and other business applications • Administer and troubleshoot issues in a Windows 7 environment within an Active Directory setup • Deliver excellent customer service while resolving technical issues • Employ your basic troubleshooting skills to solve problems effectively in Microsoft Office applications. Requirements • Applicant must hold a High School diploma or equivalent. • No minimum years of experience required, making it an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates. • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting is required, with a preference for those who have a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues. • Strong customer service skills are a must, as you will be interacting with multiple individuals on a daily basis. • Proficiency in using computers and related technology is vital. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to meet organizational goals. • Availability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required. • Willingness to participate in ongoing training to constantly improve skills and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
