Help Desk Analyst

Description
+ Provide responsive and efficient technical support for Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and related applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices within a Windows environment.
+ Respond to help desk inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing systems, ensuring timely and professional service.
+ Assist with Active Directory management, including account creation, password resets, permissions, and group policies.
+ Perform software installations, updates, and patch management for Windows systems according to company guidelines.
+ Support basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity issues, VPN setup, and LAN/WAN configurations).
+ Train end-users on IT tools, best practices, and security protocols.
+ Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher tiers of support or appropriate departments when necessary.
+ Document technical solutions and maintain knowledge base articles for common issues and resolutions.
Requirements
+ 1-3 years of professional experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
+ Proficiency with Windows operating systems, configuration, and troubleshooting.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or equivalent tools.
+ Experience with Active Directory and user account management is required.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).
+ Exposure to virtualization tools (Hyper-V or VMware).
+ Basic familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks is a plus.
