We have an outstanding Contract position for a Help Desk Analyst to join a leading Company located in the Carson, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $30
Responsibilities:Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issuesDetermine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formatsWork closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirementsIdentify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep the team within the timeline and budgetConstruct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specificationsDevelop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testingMaintain automated system protocols by writing and updating proceduresMay create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, and training materials) and deliver trainingImproved business processes through the use of business applications fit for purpose and harmonized across the branchSuccessful implementation of applications and changes to applicationsImproved communication and understanding between business departments and the customerData AnalysisInterview business process owners and key users, analyze and document business processes and requirements, and develop system proposals and functional specificationsTranslate diverse business requirements into common functional specificationsReview requests for projects and changes and advice on approval based on, for example, feasibility, compliance with standards, business case, risk, prioritySupport the implementation of ERP & other business systems, advise and support key usersPrepare training material, provide training, and support the creation of work instructionsSupport the preparation and execution of software testingResult expectations:Business applications reflect the needs of the businessProper specifications to support development by the customer or 3rd partiesHarmonization of business applications and business processesWell-trained usersDocumented systemsProject ManagementAct as Business Project Manager during smaller projects or changesSupport the customer and Business Project ManagerInvolve internal functions and coordinate and verify work performed by external consultantsEnsure solutions adhere to corporate architecture standards and requirementsResult expectations:Projects and changes delivered on time, within budget, at good quality, and in accordance with business requirements and architectural standardsRelationship ManagementAct as point of contact for questions and information for system and reporting changesAdvice and support the business in the use of Reporting and Business Intelligence toolsHold periodic meetings with BPOs to evaluate how systems could be improved to solve business problemsAnticipate improvements in business processes or reportingResult expectations:Understanding of business needs before formal requests are madeOtherParticipate in the definition and maintenance of system and data architecture standardsSupport the development of information systems plansSupport the harmonization of business applications, help prepare a realistic roadmapResult expectations:Optimized application portfolio and roadmap
Basic Hiring Criteria: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience & education required
Desired Qualifications:Experience in data analysis with a solid understanding of business processes is preferredStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to build and maintain effective relationshipsStrong overall ERP knowledgeRequires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within the disciplineConducts tasks and assignments as directedWorks under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgmentStrong decision quality is expected
