Position Summary
As a Help Desk Analyst, you will serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing IT-related issues. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is essential in ensuring the productivity and satisfaction of our team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
+ Respond to incoming help desk requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
+ Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices.
+ Provide support for Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and commonly used enterprise applications.
+ Assist with password resets, account setup, and basic Active Directory administration.
+ Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
+ Document issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
+ Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams or vendors when necessary.
+ Guide users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Experience:
+ 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, and troubleshooting common IT issues.
+ Familiarity with Active Directory and basic account management tasks.
+ Technical Skills:
+ Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
+ Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
+ Knowledge of antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
+ Soft Skills:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
+ IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft 365 Certified.
+ Experience supporting mobile devices and printers.
+ Familiarity with cloud-based systems and virtual environments (e.g., Azure, VMware).
