Help Desk Analyst

Description We are in the Higher Education industry, based in San Antonio, Texas, and we are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to join our team. This role involves providing IT support and resolving technical issues for both local and field users.
Responsibilities:
• Address and resolve technical help queries submitted through various channels such as phone, email, and walk-ups
• Offer IT assistance for a wide range of applications including Windows, Microsoft Office, and other internally used software
• Independently research and execute solutions to address technical problems
• Identify and provide solutions for recurring technical issues
• Oversee the installation and configuration of Windows OS, networked and local printers, and business applications
• Execute administration and bug fixing for Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment
• Utilize excellent problem-solving skills in managing Microsoft Office applications
• Understand and apply basic TCP/IP networking concepts
• Set up and support Audio/Visual systems
• Handle IT support ticketing systems effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco Technologies, including the ability to configure and manage Cisco devices.
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, with the capacity to optimize their use in an educational setting.
• Proficient in the use and troubleshooting of Mac Computers, ensuring smooth operation for all users.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft products and services, including Office Suite and related software.
• Experience with Active Directory, with the ability to manage user accounts and access controls.
• Competence in the use and maintenance of Apple Devices, ensuring functionality and user satisfaction.
• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues.
• Experience in Configuration Management, ensuring systems are consistently maintained and updated.
• Proven expertise in Deployments, including the ability to plan and execute software and hardware rollouts. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
