Help Desk Analyst I
Description We are providing a short term, contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I with our client located in GLENVIEW, Illinois! The selected candidate will be part of a team managing a backlog of help desk tickets due to an ongoing EMR consolidation/migration. Responsibilities: + Act as the first point of contact for end users, providing effective phone support. + Manage the ticket backlog, which includes a variety of IT-related issues. + Clear, concise communication with team members is essential. + Troubleshoot common issues such as password resets, internet problems, and printer setup. + Ensure that access to facility assignments is properly maintained. + Monitor and address IT-related needs of team members in a timely and effective manner. + Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and troubleshooting steps. + Utilize knowledge of Microsoft and Active Directory in support and troubleshooting tasks. Requirements + Possess a solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Demonstrate proficiency in using Active Directory for managing networked users and resources. + Display strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues. + Show excellent communication skills to assist users and explain technical terms in a user-friendly language. + Have a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. + Exhibit ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues simultaneously. + Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, with focus on prevention of potential issues. + Show willingness to learn about new technologies and maintain updated knowledge in the rapidly changing IT field. + Display patience in dealing with users of varying levels of technical proficiency. + Exhibit strong team collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently. + Possess at least a basic level of IT certification or relevant work experience in a similar role.
