Help Desk Analyst I
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in Crystal Lake, Illinois. This role primarily focuses on maintaining the optimal functioning of our technological resources, including microcomputers, telephony hardware and software, and audio/video equipment. You will provide direct user support, manage installations and upgrades, handle routine purchases, conduct research, and keep an accurate inventory. Responsibilities: • Respond to software and hardware queries and issues related to microcomputers • Act as the first point of contact, overseeing and processing service requests from the Help Desk line and other sources • Keep track of PC related equipment and software inventory and ensure software licensing requirements are met • Research, evaluate, purchase, and install new microcomputer hardware and software according to user requirements and standards set by the Information Technology Department • Maintain support documentation which includes problem logs, troubleshooting references, and installation procedures • Conduct training sessions in small groups or one-on-one to enable users to effectively utilize applications • Provide secondary system level support for critical systems, including the organization's Enterprise Resources Planning System. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar • Proficiency in Android Development • Comprehensive understanding of Cisco Technologies • Experience with Citrix Technologies • Knowledge of Database systems and management • Familiarity with EO/IR systems • Proven expertise in Active Directory • Experience with Apple Devices and related software • Strong understanding of Computer Hardware • Proficiency in Configuration Management • Experience in managing and executing Deployments • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including all major applications.
