Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in the Energy/Natural Resources industry located in Houston, Texas. You will be part of a team providing all remote support in a call center environment, handling a variety of tasks to support our users. Responsibilities: • Respond to user tickets in a timely and effective manner • Ensure comprehensive documentation using Confluence • Provide remote support to users across multiple sites • Handle a high volume of tickets daily, maintaining a high level of efficiency • Participate in training for the first 1-2 months to understand the system and processes • Use Microsoft and Active Directory skills to resolve technical issues • Maintain computer hardware to ensure optimal performance • Play an active role in contributing to a positive team culture. Requirements • Candidate must possess a deep understanding of Microsoft products and services • Proficiency in Active Directory is required for managing user accounts and access • Must have a solid grasp of computer hardware, capable of troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues • Prior experience in the Energy/Natural Resources industry is highly desirable • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to effectively address user issues • Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with various stakeholders and explain technical concepts in an understandable manner • The ability to work under pressure and multitask is essential in handling multiple tickets and user requests simultaneously • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required • Relevant certifications in Microsoft products, Active Directory, or computer hardware would be advantageous • Must be willing to work in shifts to ensure round-the-clock support for end users.
