Description We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri. This Contract to permanent position involves providing advanced IT support, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring seamless network operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user support.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver Tier 2 technical support for escalated IT issues, including troubleshooting software, hardware, and connectivity problems.
• Configure and resolve issues with network devices such as Cisco switches, routers, and Meraki access points.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 support staff by providing guidance and training on recurring technical challenges.
• Monitor system and network performance using tools like the Meraki Dashboard, addressing potential issues proactively.
• Deploy, maintain, and update network hardware and software while ensuring compatibility and security.
• Provide exceptional customer service to end users, maintaining clear communication and timely follow-ups.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to address networking and hardware-related concerns.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including procedural guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to support future troubleshooting efforts. Requirements • Strong proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Meraki products and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA or CCNP, and Meraki certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, ideally in a Tier 2 or networking-focused role.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical information into user-friendly language.
