Help Desk Specialist
  Overview: IntelliBridge supports the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) by providing enterprise IT support services. This position will be part of a team responsible for providing tier 1-2 helpdesk support to a population of 3,000 clients.Performs all the duties of a Help Desk Specialist 1 with increased technical proficiency and working knowledge. Provide technical and end-user support for commercial PC operating systems, COTS, and/or custom applications. Assists with implementing new commercial software and other technology deployments and upgrades. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves PC software/configuration problems, referring more complex issues to senior personnel. As required, installs, tests, and configures software and/or monitors system/server performance. Assists in instructing and training new staff. 

Position Requirements: 

Two (2) years experience in customer/user service, in providing technical and end-user support for commercial PC operating systems, COTS, and/or applications software in person and over the phone. Two (2) years experience working with Microsoft Windows client or server operating systems in a network environment. Two (2) years experience in network operations and support. Two (2) years experience in diagnosing and resolving PC, server, and printer problems. Knowledge of remote access/diagnostics software such as Microsoft SMS/SCCM." Provide technical and end-user support for commercial PC operating systems, COTS, and/or custom applications. Assists with implementing new commercial software and other technology deployments and upgrades. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves PC software/configuration problems, referring more complex issues to senior personnel. As required, installs, tests, and configures software and/or monitors system/server performance. Assists in instructing and training new staff. 

Education and/or Certifications 

CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ certifications are preferred.
