As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will:
Work in an operations center side by side with other personnel throughout the shiftRespond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical supportDocument, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolutionAdminister Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2008r2 operating systemsPerform service and server restarts, patching and troubleshooting in the Microsoft Server domainDocument and publish procedures to improve operational effectivenessMeet your recruiter Mike
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
Associates degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degreeAt least two years of operations support experienceAt least one year of experience with a federal agency or federal contractorAt least two years of information technology experienceExperience as a user of SCOM or another data center monitoring toolExperience working with and patching Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2008r2Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communications skillsLinux (Rhel 6/7, Centos, Suse, Ubunto) experience a plus Company OverviewSerco Inc.
