Position Overview:
This position is for a Help Desk Technician to support the FBI’s Information Management Division by applying technical skills to support a dispersed user base. The technician will be responsible for providing input into the weekly report and applying analysis to the identified issues to help drive business decisions. This technician will also be an integral part of the team in providing support to the user base.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Deliver quality help desk support services to a geographically dispersed customer base Document, diagnose, escalate and/or resolve trouble tickets related to user access, business process, or user training. Communicate frequently with system users, via email, phone and face to face in an effort to understand and resolve their tickets Act as a liaison to escalate and monitor issues between the government analysts and Tier 3 and 4 Document agency business rules and standard operating procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Produce and provide analysis for weekly reports Requirements Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related discipline 3-5 years of experience supporting custom applications Experience providing user support and training to a user base Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff) Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes Physical Demands and Work Environment

 Professional office environment: temperature-controlled office building, low noise level, standard office lighting.
