We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of Help Desk Technician for our Fredericksburg location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
Learn and become familiar with Kaeser IT systems and infrastructure.Provide help desk support for all employees.Provide first line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocate/elevate unresolved issues as appropriate.Install, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.Perform system setup of new hires, new hire orientation and laptop training.Maintain computer inventory and log service/repair activity.Configure and install computer and network equipment.Desktop and laptop, end user device support.Assign/unassign equipment. Setup/ship out new user equipment. handle returned equipment.Promptly allocate calls as appropriate.Log incidents and service requests and maintain relevant records. Be responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Company's quality and environmental system.Required Qualifications
The successful candidate’s background will include:
High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.Good communication skills/phone skills required.Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace.SAP experience preferred.Regular physical attendance at the worksite.Must be available to work outside of normal business hours when needed and must be able to travel to other offices for support as necessary.We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefit package including Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plan as well as an on-site exercise facility, free exercise classes and a health and wellness program.
