Full Time Position: (M-F) On-Call Weekend Rotation

Bachman’s information technology department has an opening for a help desk technician who is skilled in trouble shooting, automated systems, hands on support, and system backup and recovery support.

POSITION DUTIES:
+ Perform technical hands-on support of a large fleet of personal computers, point-of-sale registers, and other computing hardware for remote and on-site users.
+ Respond to and resolve or escalate incoming Help Desk requests in a timely and courteous manner.
+ Provide system backup and recovery support and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours requests.
+ Provide technical support for 250+ PC’s (hardware and software) and 85+ POS registers.
+ Provide technical support for printers and other peripherals.
+ Support automated System Backup applications.
+ Provide analysis of diagnostic utilities to aid in basic troubleshooting of PC problems.
+ Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software/hardware, configuring systems and applications.
+ Provide On Call support on a rotational basis.
+ Work with the recycling and disposal of outdated hardware.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A+ certification and 1-2 years work experience OR Associates Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience in help desk role supporting Microsoft Office products with high proficiency in using MS Office products and Windows Operating Systems preferred.
+ Knowledge and experience in supporting computer hardware, peripherals, Microsoft applications and Windows 10, 11, and smart devices.
+ Exposure to troubleshooting mobile devices.
+ Hands on experience with installing and troubleshooting PC software and hardware issues.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
