Helpdesk Technician for IT Infrastructure and Support acts as the first line of support for end users and infrastructure related repairs and maintenance. Responsible for end-user support, troubleshooting, hardware deployment, and account management. Must maintain current required licensure\/certificates for the position.\n
DUTIES:\n\nAct as a contact (help desk) for all problems related to the use of information technology within the Spurwink organization. Maintain appropriate documentation for problem tracking and resolution. Contact correct resource following approved procedures. Follow-up to ensure satisfactory resolution. Provide PC hardware\/software maintenance support as assigned.\nImplement new hardware and software on workstations. Provide basic training when appropriate.\nAssist with setup and administration of user accounts for network and application access.\nFollow all safety practices in use of supplies and equipment and perform duties in accordance with safety precautions, policies, and procedures.\nSee attached job description for more details. \n\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\n
Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience working with PCs, servers other network devices in LAN\/WAN environment, cloud infrastructure, and virtual machines. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.\n
