**Position Summary** Helpers are responsible for assisting workers to carry out a variety of tasks such as tidying up work areas, unloading materials, preparing worksites, cleaning debris, and executing other tasks assigned. + Effective oral and written communication + Must be at least 18 years of age, except where a higher age is required by law, and must be employed to learn an apprenticeable occupation. + High school diploma or gneral educational equivalent (waivable for underrepresented populations in adult education). + Applicants will be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others. + Valid driver's license is required. + Willingness to learn + Ability to follow directions + Interest in skilled craft trades + Ability and willingness to travel to various job sites + Flexibility in assigned tasks + Attention to detail + Focus on a safe working environment + May be eligible for an apprenticeship program in one of the five different programs available: + Construction Laborer + Combination Welder + Electrician + Heavy Equipment Operator + Substation Lineman + 401k + Medical + Dental + Vision
