The Hemodialysis team cares for patients that are dialysis dependent. Acuity varies from med/surg to critical care.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Hemodialysis Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative, patient care, and equipment related functions. This position promotes a well-organized and efficient delivery of care to the specific patient population. This position facilitates communication between, physicians, nurses, patients, and visitors, as well as outpatient centers that serve the patient population. This position involves technical skills related to hemodialysis equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Required length of experience:
Healthcare experience preferred.
Customer service, organizational and computer skills are essential.
