Requirements:

HGV Class 1 Licence (held for at least 6 months)Tachograph: Minimum of 60 days driving experience recordedValid CPC CertificationExcellent Communication Skills with the ability to follow instructions accuratelyClear Employment History for the last 5 years (no gaps)DBS Check: Required for employment

Job Responsibilities:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your role is vital in ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsLoading and unloading cargo securelyAdhering to traffic laws and company policiesMaintaining accurate records of deliveries and driving hoursEffective communication with dispatchers and clientsRepresenting the client professionally at all times
