HID Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Business Area has successfully grown our mobile business globally. To accelerate this growth further and take it to new heights, PACS has initiated a new role of Business Director - HID Mobile Access Applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the global success of the HID Mobile Access (MA) App program. This strategic leadership role involves building and executing the business strategy, driving user adoption and expansion, and continually improving the user experience. The director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, R&D, Sales, Business Strategy, Marcoms, and Strategic Alliances, to ensure alignment and execution of key initiatives. Additionally, the role will work hand-in-hand with Wallet Commercial teams to drive a comprehensive HID Mobile Identities strategy, ensuring HID MA solutions meet market needs and deliver long-term success to drive the success of the HID Mobile Access Applications globally.

As our HID Mobile Access Applications Business- Director, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Global Business Strategy Leadership:

Build and drive the global business strategy for HID Mobile Access App (MA App), ensuring alignment with HID's overarching goals and market positioning

Migration from Plastic to Mobile:

Drive the transition from traditional plastic access solutions to mobile-based alternatives, promoting the benefits of digital access and increasing mobile adoption

User Adoption & Expansion:

Lead initiatives to drive user adoption and expansion, ensuring the HID MA App reaches its full market potential

User Experience Enhancement:

Oversee efforts to improve the user experience continuously, enhancing satisfaction, engagement, and retention

Collaboration with Wallet Commercial Teams:

Partner with Wallet Commercial teams to drive a complementary HID Mobile Identities strategy that aligns with HID’s strategic objectives

Revenue Growth and Monetization Strategies:

Drive strategies to increase Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and explore new monetization models for HID MA solutions, ensuring sustainable business growth 

 

 

What we will love about your background:

 

Proven experience in business strategy development and execution, ideally within mobile applications or identity/access solutions Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards common objectives Experience with user adoption strategies, product management, and improving customer experiences Knowledge of mobile identity solutions, API/SDK partnerships, and digital transformation trends Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both internal teams and external stakeholders effectively Strategic thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving Deep knowledge of recurring revenue strategies and various monetization models, with a proven ability to implement and optimize them for sustained business growth

 

 

Your Experience and Education include:     

        

Experience in the mobile access or security space, especially related to identity and access management solutions Familiarity with Wallet and mobile ID ecosystems Prior experience working in global markets and leading teams across various regions
