The MIT Lincoln Laboratory Supercomputing Center (LLSC) team is a world leader in interactive supercomputing, artificial intelligence, and big data technologies. Our team analyzes, architects, builds, and transitions technology, algorithms, and systems to thousands of brilliant MIT researchers. We develop leading-edge, high performance solutions to satisfy the Nation's most difficult problems. Job Description:
The LLSC seeks talented individuals with a strong science or engineering background and a passion for supercomputing. LLSC associate staff work alongside world-leading experts in a variety of domains. Individuals with diverse technical interests tied together by mathematical or computing foundations will be able to deploy developed tools to a wide variety of problems that directly impact the Nations' most challenging problems.
Responsibilities:May include authoring or coauthoring technical presentations, reports and manuscripts for peer-reviews conferences and/or journals. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment as a member of multidisciplinary teams consisting of PhD-level scientists, faculty and engineers.
Requirements:Master’s or (BS with 3+ years of experience) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Candidate must have demonstrated experience and interest in high performance computing with a background in statistics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence applications. Candidates with strong mathematical foundations and interest in working with diverse problems are highly desirable. Candidate must have highly effective organizational, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as effective presentation skills and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
