With a 3,400-strong workforce, OneTech will be split into three hubs: an industrial hub supporting the Company’s expansion in gas, renewables, electricity and carbon emissions reduction; a research & development hub regrouping all TotalEnergies’ research activities to anticipate the Company’s transformation, by giving priority to the low-carbon mix; and a support hub (HR and finance)

Activities Numerical simulation is a key component in the design and optimization phase of many technical activities at TotalEnergies. Performances of scientific codes drive a large part of simulation value for our customers and raise important challenges as they involve several numerical techniques such as applied mathematics, algorithmics, and parallel code development.
OneTech is looking for a High Performance Computing (HPC) Developer.
As part of the Scientific Computing Team of R&D you will be integrated into our project of Battery simulation. This multi-physics and multiscale application is full of technical challenges for passionate parallel developers.
As a High Performance Computing Developer, you will be responsible for:
Technical choices driving HPC parts of the code (programming models, linear solvers, special discretization, implementations on HPC clusters)Parallel development part of the codeProfiling and performance assessmentBuilding and following strategic partnerships with external research laboratoriesLeading current PHD and propose new onesRepresenting the Company in prestigious conferencesDriving contracted resource
Candidate Profile You like innovation and high-level technical challenges in the computing domainYou have a 10-year industrial experience involving parallel code developmentYou master standard programming languages & paradigms as: C++, Python, MPI and OpenMPYou have skills in applied mathematics (discretization, linear solvers, …) an experience in Deep Learning would be a plus…Working in an international environment, you have a good level in English
