High Pressure Cleaning Tech

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs high pressure cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems which include the kitchen hood canopy area, plenum area behind the filters, the filters, exhaust duct(s), and the exhaust fan(s). Works with chemical degreaser for dissolving grease and hot water high pressure washer machines. Schedule is normally Sunday night through Thursday night, late evening and early morning hours when kitchen and restaurants are closed or done cooking and some occasional cleanings done in the afternoons for some customers. Works with customers to schedule appointments around kitchen schedules. Maintains proper maintenance and reports maintenance or repairs needed on pressure wash machine(s), other equipment and/or trailer. Must prepare accurate and timely documentation for work performed. Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks. Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner. Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Must ensure a positive customer experience. Provide reliable, high quality customer support. Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented. Must perform other duties, as assigned. Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):

Must have high school diploma or GED. No prior skills required. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSING:

 Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state, and local codes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color. Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment; work in ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings; lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs. Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and be able to travel on short notice. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
