Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories seeks a high school intern to join us in our Distribution, Controls, and Sensors department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Organize and update electronic files and databases.
2. Maintain filing systems by creating, filing, and archiving records.
3. Photocopy, compile, and distribute documents as needed.
4. Assist with the coordination of meetings, trainings and/or events.
5. Perform special project as assigned.
6. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Current high school student
Ability to perform basic word processing and spreadsheet functions
Ability to be flexible, show initiative, and learn new skills
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
