High School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Near Red Lion, Pennsylvania
Type of Position: Full-Time High School Role
About the role:
+ Collaborate with all key stakeholders regarding functional communication and life skills.
+ Support high school students with a variety of communication impairments including fluency disorders, language delays, Autism, and more.
+ Implement differing service delivery models, including push-in, whole-group, and pull-out therapy.
+ Completes all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
+ Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and make appropriate dismissal determinations.
+ Provide and make recommendations for classroom accommodations such as visual aids and augmentative communication.
+ Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
+ Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.
+ Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
+ Be an active member of the school-based related services team.
Qualifications:
+ School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th grade children.
+ Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
+ Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
+ Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range : $61,520 - $75,490 (based on qualifications and experience).
