Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced attorney to advise colleges and universities on regulatory compliance and business operations. The role includes:

Advising higher education institutions on compliance with state and federal regulations Handling transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions involving colleges and universities Providing counsel on governance, accreditation, and institutional policies Assisting with contract negotiation, employment issues, and risk management Representing institutions in regulatory investigations and administrative proceedings Collaborating with firm leadership to develop innovative legal strategies for clients

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school Active New Jersey Bar admission 3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on higher education or regulatory compliance Strong background in transactional matters, including mergers and business operations Experience representing colleges or universities preferred Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
