Highway Coordinator

In the role of Highway Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Provide project engineering/project delivery supports with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region.Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimatesProvide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred QualificationsEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate. EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of Highway Coordinator and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) as required.Preference will be given to local candidates.Previous work experience with Cal Trans/Local Cities projects (studies and design) is preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
