CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering firm, is seeking a qualified Highway Design Engineer with 0-5 years of experience for our Warrendale (Pittsburgh), PA office. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of design and plan preparation functions with limited supervision and guidance, including engineering computations, cost estimates, checking, report writing, etc.

Essential Functions

Perform highway engineering design functions including preliminary and final design under supervision, review or checking of designs, engineering computations, specifications, cost estimates, and report writing, etc. Conduct and/or assist in visits to project sites, project status meetings, and public meetings. Assist in developing skills and knowledge of coworkers. Assist with development of proposals, letters of interest, supplements, etc. Provide support to other regional offices as needed. Keep up-to-date with new design technology, construction equipment, and bridge design/construction advancements.
