In this role you will get **to work on projects that change the fabric of our community.** **What You’ll Be Doing** + The Highway Design Engineer will provide project design civil engineering services such as preparation of project study reports, project reports, geometric approval drawings, plans, specifications and estimates. + Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and super elevation diagrams. + Perform quantity calculations project estimates. + Managing Associate Engineers in completing project deliverables. + Develop details to construction, detour, signing & marking. + Coordinate with project team and interdisciplinary technical personnel. + Assists the senior staff in completing the project deliverables. + Provide support for other engineering activities as required. + Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. **What Required Skills You’ll Bring** + At least **Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering** from an accredited university. + Minimum of **3+ years** relevant experience in the field of highway and roadway design using Autodesk Civil3D, Microstation and GeoPak design software. + A thorough working knowledge of AASHTO design guidelines is required. + Roadway & Highway design experience in Qatar projects. + Geometric alignments design + Must be MME certified. + Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal and have experience in composing correspondence related to his responsibilities. **What Desired Skills You’ll Bring** + The Engineer at this level is proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices and Company procedure. Some assignments involve CAE(computer aided engineering)/CAD(computer aided design) applications.
