Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your highway/roadway design expertise. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living. This role will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and project Managers. Using your experience, you’ll be responsible for: • Preparing roadway and highway designs using cad and modeling software. • Developing plans, prepare technical specifications, develop quantities and estimates, complete peer reviews, and compile design documentation. • Coordinating with design discipline leads. • Promoting Jacobs quality control practices through all phases of design and plans production. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation focused preferred) • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in transportation engineering with an emphasis on highway engineering projects • Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills. • Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred) • Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines (WisDOT preferred) Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
