The Lincolnshire Laboratory lead role will work in collaboration with the Highways Management Team to develop and deliver an efficient, effective and competitive highway service across the Place Directorate.

As part of your role, you will report to the Head of Highways Infrastructure and Laboratory Services and collaborate with fellow senior managers across the Highways Service.

Together, you’ll champion an inclusive, supportive, and motivated culture, empowering officers to deliver exceptional outcomes for the residents of Lincolnshire.

Key duties will include working in affiliation with the Head of Highways Infrastructure and Laboratory Services in directing and managing laboratory services, which includes delivering a professional regime of objective highway product quality testing, delivering high profile major highway improvement schemes and informing the highway asset management strategy and plan.  Overall you will ensure the successful development and delivery of these projects and initiatives, as well as implementing and supporting the development of the laboratory.
