Seeking an engineer with systems approach to help revolutionize calibration engineering with HIL-based CAE methodologies. You will have the opportunity to work in a high-tech area of leveraging simulation and automation tools to transform propulsion system calibration efforts by exploiting strengths and eliminating weaknesses of HIL modeling, automation and testing capabilities. The general focus will be in the in HIL (Hardware-In-the Loop) integrating model-based solutions with additional responsibilities focused in VIL (Vehicle in the Loop) delivering vehicle diagnostic solutions leveraging the same xIL framework.

What you'll do…
Develop and execute HIL modeling and testing strategies, collaborating with management to identify system strengths and weaknesses, prioritize improvements, and optimize system performance. Commission applications on HIL/VIL Rigs including model/signal integration and validation. Interface with modeling and calibration teams for HIL and correlation enhancements. Collaborate with HIL HW/Integration engineers, HIL test methods, and technologist to deliver, maintain and develop HIL/VIL environment (equipment, software, automation and materials) for program use. Document, demonstrate and mentor calibration and test engineers for HIL/VIL environment setup/use. Develop, document, and standardize process improvements for the HIL/VIL commissioning. Support calibration and test engineers to debug issues with operation or performance of HIL/VIL Rig. Enhance/improve calibration DV and development capability by implementing new HIL/VIL tools. Deliver/support program planning, preparation as well as issue resolution on inputs to HIL/VIL process. Deliver recommissioning of applications and strive for process flexibility and efficiency.
