This is a Full Time, Day Shift, HIM Supervisor position supporting Northwest Healthcare!

Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the filing areas of the Medical Records Department. Coordinates work flow and monitors eligibility for access to hospital medical records.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: High School diploma or equivalent experience; Course in medical terminology and training in medical record procedures or equivalent experience.

Experience: Required: Three (3) years medical records experience.
Preferred: Previous supervisory experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Preferred: Certification as RHIT, RHIA, or CTR.
