**Health Information Management (HIM) Technician (Certified)** Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical administrative role in providing excellent care to patients in a hospital setting? If so, consider joining our team as a **Health Information Management (HIM) Technician** working full time days. **Key responsibilities of this role include:** + Organizing and evaluating patient medical records and work aging lists + Reviewing medical records for accuracy and completeness + Working directly with clinical staff and physicians to ensure that patient records display up-to-date information + Submitting delinquency reports for month end reporting including identifying trends and provider suspensions + Performing verification of ADM/OBS orders + Executing daily HP/OP report monitoring including deficiency letters and suspension process + Assisting HIM Leadership with coding holds + Demonstrating knowledge of ERAVE system and how to assist providers with death certificate completion and paper variance and submission to funeral homes **Key qualifications to be considered for this include:** + Associates in Health Information Management, with RHIT + 0-2 years of related experience required + Strong communication skills required + High level of accuracy and attention to detail + High level of work quality + Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize work + Familiarity with state HIM regulations **About Northwest Health** Northwest Health provides inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, medical, surgical and emergency services to the Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville, Johnson and Siloam Springs communities in northwestern Arkansas.
