**JOB SUMMARY:** Under the supervision of Network HIM Manager and routinely supports the unit through the provision of services. Serves as the key liaison and coordinator for the development and operation of the quality management work of the department for the EHR. Responsible for support functions for the HIM department, including preparing and processing all medical record documents for permanent storage in the electronic record. In addition, this individual takes primary responsibility for implementing and collecting necessary data upon the request of the Network HIM Manager to manage health information procedures required by the regulatory, network, hospital, department and corporate requirements. Acts as a subject matter expert and resource for the electronic health record within the facility and network. **MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **Licensure:** None. **Experience:** Health Information Management experience preferred. **Education:** Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) required. **Registration/Certification:** None.
