Are you a customer-focused professional with an eye for detail? Can you build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders? A self-starter who has excellent management skills?

Our Hire Desk team work closely with many projects throughout the UK. You will need to be organised, able to follow the process and ensure an excellent customer experience.

What will you be doing as a Hire Desk Assistant?

Dealing with incoming phone calls/emails in a professional and prompt manner Action on and off-hire requests from the site for internal fleet and rehired equipment in an accurate and timely manner  Processing the supply of products in an accurate and timely manner Providing customers with guidance on the most suitable equipment required To be the main point of call for any queries (breakdowns/exchanges etc) Organise and plan administrative workloads to provide an effective service Review asset availability and ensure that our own solutions are utilised to their maximum potential Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory requirements. I.e. H&S and environmental issues In conjunction with the purchase ledger team resolve supplier invoice queries in a timely manner Respond to queries/complaints, liaises with the appropriate people within Select and resolve the issues raised through the complaints process Providing pricing availability and schedule information to the customer

What will the role look like?

A keen eye for detail to ensure consistency and resolve queries The ability to plan and organise workloads Ability to use MS Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge of COINS, commercial understanding, site solutions, plant hire or hire desk exposure is desirable.

Batteries  Flybrids Generators (30KVA and above)  Printers  Aurora Turnstiles Aurora Clockfaces  Fire Extinguishers and Accessories  Waste and Water Tank Servicing/Bulk waste and Water  Road Sweepers  Vacuum Excavators  Standalone Accommodation
