The University of Miami/UHealth department of Clinical Engineering has exciting Full Time opportunities for Biomedical Technicians 1, 2, and 3 to work at the UHealth Medical Campus.
Biomedical Technician 1
Core Qualifications
Associate Degree or Biomedical Equipment Technician
If an associate degree, no additional experience is required.
If no associate degree, a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
If no degree or Military training in a related field you will be required to obtain a certificate in Biomedical Equipment Technician Certificate within two years of hire.
Military training in biomedical technician or equivalent
Biomedical Technician 2
Core Qualifications
Associate degree in relevant field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Biomedical Technician 3
Core Qualifications
Associate Degree in relevant field
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes:Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
Commitment to the University’s core values.
Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
