Qualifications
One (1) year experience as a histology technician in an acute care facility. Ability to work with minimal direct supervision. Excellent communication skills. Ability to be an effective team member and to work with many publics across all departments. Basic knowledge of histology testing procedures.

Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values a Histology Technician performs routine and complex testing in the histology laboratory and performs quality control for testing performed. Performs routine maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.
This position is represented by SEIU Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
