This is an entry level histotechnician position and training will be provided as needed. Responsible for performing routine and advanced histology techniques, utilizing procedures varying in complexity, to prepare pathology specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist. Maintains histology and cytology files of specimens, blocks, slides and data. Performs maintenance of instrumentation. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks Monday-Friday | Shifts between the hours of 4:30am-5:30pm No nights, weekends, or holidays!Pay and Benefits:

One of the following educational requirements: Completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician or Histotechnology program or Bachelor's Degree Biologic science related field from an accredited college/university or Associate of Applied Science Degree Associates Degree in chemical, biologic science or Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from an accredited institution or 60 semester hours from an accredited institution that includes 24 semester hours of science. Completed credit hours must include at least 6 credit hours in Chemistries and 6 credit hours in Biology
