Plus, you'll have opportunities to share your skills and knowledge by participating in clinical trials and research in conjunction with leading organizations such as the Washington University School of Medicine. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** Responsible for providing a variety of routine and/or complex tests and procedures on tissue and related surgical specimens submitted for histological examination. **Responsibilities** + Understands test principles, theory, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of all instrumentation in assigned areas. + Tasks to include, but not limited to, microtomy, embedding, staining, reagent preparation. Performs and documents quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary.
