We are looking for a a talented HMDA/CRA RE Clerk for our Corporate Loan Servicing office in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, ID. This position is responsible for focusing on loan quality as it relates to regulatory requirements, disclosures, and documentation by performing reviews comparing actual documentation collected/received and data entry into loan systems. This is a Full Time position which will be scheduled 40 hours a week. Hourly rate DOE $17.10 + DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure loan quality as it relates to HMDA and CRA Work closely with Glacier Bancorp (GBCI) compliance and audit staff and the division management team to ensure that the division follows procedures that are consistent with the GBCI’s expectations and are acceptable to the company’s compliance management system (CMS) Perform monthly HMDA reviews (“scrub the LAR”) as deemed necessary to ensure HMDA data entry is accurate and consistent while also correcting errors and training appropriate staff responsible for the respective data entry Implement the ongoing changes in HMDA, especially in the Consumer Lending arena to ensure compliance with new regulations Prepare regular reports and/or recommendations for improvement opportunities to the division management team Train appropriate lending and management staff as needed. Perform monthly CRA reviews as deemed necessary to ensure that all Business, Farm and Community Development lending help meet the credit needs of the communities based on criteria set forth in the procedures provided by GBCI. Oversee the CRA data integrity reporting for Mountain West Bank based on eligibility criteria and ensure proper reporting on the Division’s CRA Lar. Participates in community service activities Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control About You REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 or more years of banking experience Knowledge of banking policies and procedures. Demonstrate a general knowledge and understanding of HMDA and CRA and well as the regulations pertaining to both Ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills. Strong attention to detail Ability to work in within strict timeframes and meet deadlines Excellent customer service skills Good knowledge of basic office equipment Working knowledge of Word and Excel KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: Jack Henry, DecisionPro, Laser Pro & Synergy systems knowledge. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
