Introduction to the job

Operational Excellence (OE) is a business strategy aiming to deliver and improve products, services and processes to meet or exceed customer needs. OE is striving towards consistent and reliable performance with increasing its quality and reducing the costs. OE involves using the continuous improvement approach to optimize organization's operations and creating a full-scale change of the organizational culture. Therefore, we strive towards the continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash. This can be achieved by implementing various methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Total Quality Management, and by fostering a culture of open communication, teamwork and continuous learning.
OE involves two aspects: performance and organizational maturity. As organizations such as ASML are striving towards improvement of organizational performance, thus increase the production and improve the quality of the products, it is necessary for the organization to also improve organizational maturity. As mentioned, such state can be achieved by using methodologies of OE. ASML is for this purpose implementing the lean operational system striving towards continuous improvement, thus improving performance while increasing the maturity of the organization.

Role and responsibilities

As project leader of HMI CS Operational Excellence team, this role is assigned with two main responsibilities:

1.HMI EPM (equipment performance management) owner to secure equipment performance control (improve and maintain) of machines in the field via a structured process of collection, analysis and distribution of performance information towards the responsible operations.(1).Comply with SEMI E10 standards and contractual reconciliation process(2).Monitor data completeness: ensure proper data quality assessment, data entry/ validation into the database(3).Deliver monthly KPI reporting on:- Machine performance (machine availability, average uptime)- Long Downs (XLD frequency and duration)- Structural failures RCA bucketing and operational CAPA and secure follow-up(4).Participate in continuous improvement projects with WW local operational CS&S management team

2. CS central Infrastructure Management for BRES, EPS and Hololens deployment to WW Customer sites

Education and experience

Master degree in technical science (Physics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Chemistry, Aerospace Engineering, Process technology, etc.) or equivalent experience is desired.Knowledge of ASML equipment machine performance (EPM) and InfrastructureProject management

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
