We are looking for a **Senior Technical Support Engineer** to assist customers with AVEVA HMI/SCADA products.
As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, support a diverse range of global customers, and contribute to the growth of AVEVA as an industry leader company.
This role involves troubleshooting software issues, managing customer cases, creating documentation, and collaborating with R&D to ensure swift resolution of customer-reported problems.
**Key responsibilities - You will do:**
+ Provide support to global customers for AVEVA HMI/SCADA products, resolving customer-reported issues.
+ Document and report software issues to the R&D department for resolution.
+ Efficiently manage customer cases in our case management system.
+ Serve as the link between customers and R&D, ensuring clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
+ Create documentation following the KCS methodology to build and improve knowledge sharing within the organization.
**Essential requirements - You will have:**
+ Extensive hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA software.
+ Ability to develop custom code using scripting languages such as QuickScript, VBScript, JavaScript, and Python.
+ Solid understanding of SQL and database interactions.
+ Familiarity with industrial protocols like Modbus, OPC, and others.
+ English language proficiency - Advanced (ability to write and **speak** fluently to support global customers)
+ Customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver high-quality support.
+ Team-oriented and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
+ Analytical mindset to address technical challenges effectively.
+ Curiosity to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
**A PLUS:**
+ Extensive hands-on experience specifically working with AVEVA Edge (InduSoft), AVEVA InTouch, and AVEVA Plant SCADA (Citect).
+ Experience in industrial automation and troubleshooting in production environments.
+ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and how they integrate with industrial software.
+ Knowledge of IoT systems and how they interact with SCADA and HMI systems.
+ Technical writing skills, with the ability to create clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation.
