This role involves troubleshooting software issues, managing customer cases, creating documentation, and collaborating with R&D to ensure swift resolution of customer-reported problems. **Key responsibilities - You will do:** + Provide support to global customers for AVEVA HMI/SCADA products, resolving customer-reported issues. + Document and report software issues to the R&D department for resolution. + Efficiently manage customer cases in our case management system. + Serve as the link between customers and R&D, ensuring clear communication and efficient issue resolution. + Create documentation following the KCS methodology to build and improve knowledge sharing within the organization. **Essential requirements - You will have:** + Extensive hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA software. + Ability to develop custom code using scripting languages such as QuickScript, VBScript, JavaScript, and Python. + Solid understanding of SQL and database interactions. + Familiarity with industrial protocols like Modbus, OPC, and others. + English language proficiency - Advanced (ability to write and **speak** fluently to support global customers) + Customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver high-quality support. + Team-oriented and collaborative approach to problem-solving. + Analytical mindset to address technical challenges effectively. + Curiosity to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. **A PLUS:** + Extensive hands-on experience specifically working with AVEVA Edge (InduSoft), AVEVA InTouch, and AVEVA Plant SCADA (Citect). + Experience in industrial automation and troubleshooting in production environments. + Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and how they integrate with industrial software. + Knowledge of IoT systems and how they interact with SCADA and HMI systems. + Technical writing skills, with the ability to create clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation. **AVEVA requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
