David Weekley Homes is seeking an HOA Coordinator to join our Tampa team. 

The HOA Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the Homeowners' Association (HOA) companies assigned to the surrounding communities. The responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of each community within the division.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinate the formation and filing of community declarations for water management and construction plattingInitiate contracts related to subdivision maintenance by the HOA, including maintenance and monitoring of landscape, irrigation, ponds, gates, amenity features, and mitigation areas within the communities.Selecting and hiring management companies to handle day-to-day operations within the communities.Reviewing and approving architectural review committee submittals in accordance with community guidelines.Overseeing turnover inspections and repairs to ensure properties meet standards before transition.Assist the HOA management company with managing HOA fees, budget planning, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.Assist the HOA management company with addressing and resolving ongoing inquiries and issues raised by community members.Assist homebuilding team with external developer ARC submittals of initial plans, colors and landscape plans.
QualificationsCommunity management experience preferredProficient in basic computer skills such as email, MS Word and MS ExcelExperience reading and comprehending legal real estate legal documents like deeds, plats, HOA documents, contracts, and closing statementsExcellent written and verbal communication and strong active listening skillsProven attention to detail and organizationAbility to follow up on a variety of tasks simultaneously and switch from task to task while maintaining focus and priorityShould demonstrate a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and high level of integrity
