HOA Member Service Specialist

Compensation:

$21- $22 per hour. 

Position Summary:

Work directly with Homeowners, Community Managers, and other departments to ensure timely processing of deposits, collection of monthly dues, and monthly house charges. Oversees onsite daily receivables functions, and supports all departments. High volume of communications with members regarding invoices and statements of accounts.

Essential Job Functions: 

Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous, and outgoing friendly service to all residents, guests, and fellow employees. Accurate posting of payments in the billing system to appropriate client accounts within receipt of payment. Accurately research accounts, and have the ability to explain the account/invoice to the client/customer. Regularly scheduled reporting on the status of accounts receivable in arrears. Direct and coordinate collections activities – send out late notices, emails, and make phone calls in accordance with board approved collection policy. Work with treasurer to review small delinquent amounts, and make recommendations regarding appropriate write offs. Investigate account questions regarding events, gift certificates, and distribution of charges into accounting system. Investigate owner questions regarding account balances. Verify and post transactions. Maintain historical records. Work collaboratively with other departments. Demonstrate a strong commitment to performance accountability.

Education/Certificates/Licenses/Training:

High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred.  Advanced computer and Excel training.

Experience/Background/Knowledge:

Customer Service. Accounting and computer software knowledge. Experience working with CINC a plus.

Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with managers, residents, guests, and employees in one-on-one and small group situations in a fast paced environment.  Must be computer literate.  Actively seek growth and development within the profession. Understanding that growth participation is directly related to your personal efforts and dedication to the profession.
