Pyramid Healthcare has an extensive history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in south central Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Holistic Practitioner / Yoga Teacher to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals. Location: This role would support our locations in Harrisburg and Palmyra in person.
Hours: Approximately 5-10 hours a week.
Pay: 35-40 per hour
Scope of Position & Technical Competency :
Conducts and facilitates Yoga classes, meditation and breath work, other complimentary therapies
Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups.
Collaborates with other professionals in a team approach
Assist Executive Directors and Holistic Services Supervisor in achieving excellent program survey results and making recommendations as needed to provide optimal service
Observes behavioral and emotional responses of clients and refers to PSS or Therapist as needed
Attends meetings regarding client’s progress as needed
Scheduled as needed by the program
Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision as needed and according to program standards.
Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients.
Maintains ethical boundaries with clients.
Travel to offices
Other duties as deemed necessary.
Maintains CEUs required for certification.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree in a health related field. Bachelors in health related field preferred.
Minimum 200- hour Yoga certification. RYT preferred
Experience with trauma resilience
Certifications in other Holistic Modalities strongly suggested
Health and Wellness Coaching Certification preferred
Technical Competencies:
Demonstrates an understanding of addiction, mental health, eating disorder and complex conditions
Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Meditation, Breath work, complementary healing modalities
Treatment planning and continuing assessment as needed
Referrals to community Yoga, meditation programs, other resources for complimentary therapies
Documentation as needed
Professional readiness and ethical responsibility
Population specific competency, trauma informed
